Take a rare and exciting look at the life of dinosaurs through their eggs, nests and embryos. Authentic dinosaur eggs and nests collected from all over the globe, including those of each of the major plant and meat-eating dinosaur groups. Bilingual labels in English and Spanish.

Dichos:
Words to Live, Love, and Laugh By in Latin America
Program Dates: September 1, 2010-October 5, 2010

Spanish teachers, get on board! This exhibit will be at the Neville Public Museum for a limited time. Students will learn interesting Spanish phrases (Como-pulga la oreja-) as well as the story of Latin American buses and other vehicles as art forms.

Badger Boys:
Northeast Wisconsin and the Civil War
Program Dates: February 5, 2011-October 6, 2011
Covering a Civil War unit? This exhibit will use objects, photos and first-hand accounts to explore the war from the perspective of Northeast Wisconsin. It will cover major issues such as slavery and state's rights, while emphasizing the personal experiences of individuals from that time. Hands-on and computer interactives will provide a visceral connection to the average Civil War soldier's experience.

Mapping Old Green Bay

Learn about the Green Bay area through maps, transportation, and people as presented on a guided tour through On The Edge of the Inland Sea. Students then work in the classrooms with two historic maps of Green Bay in our newly developed map activity!
Pre-visit Activity
Have your students look at our Snapshots in Time page at old historic photos from our collection before they come to the museum. Ask them to find different kinds of transportation in each photograph. Let them know that some of the photos they see on the site will be seen on their upcoming tour.
