About Art and the Animal

Art and the Animal is an international art exhibition created by The Society of Animal Artists. The Neville Public Museum is hosting the world premiere of this exhibit, which will be on display from August 30—November 2. Green Bay is the only city in the Midwest to have this complete exhibit. After the exhibit closes here, only about half of the artwork will travel to other venues. Comprised of approximately 125 artworks, the exhibit seeks to demonstrate the importance of animals in our world, from the jungle to the barnyard to the household pet and everything in between.

Even though the exhibit is only on display at the Neville Public Museum, Art and the Animal is a city-wide event which includes a total of 24 partner organizations, each promoting the relationship we all have to animals. The partner organizations are focusing some of their programs and events around animals from now through November.
